A Harris Interactive survey taken at the end of 2010 reported that 77% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, which is up from 43% when the survey was done in 2007. What would happen if an accident or illness occurred that prevented an employee from working – either briefly or for an extended period? Even worse, what would happen to the employee’s loved ones should he or she die? How will bills be paid?
As an employer, you can make available several insurance products at competitive rates to help your employees in the event of an unforeseen accident or illnesses. It’s good for them, and good for you as you strengthen your business by keeping valuable employees.
Dealer Protection Group (DPG) can help you design a portfolio of products that include:
- Short-Term Disability (STD): Provides protection to your employees to maintain financial security if they suffer a non-work related illness or injury and cannot work. Eligible members will receive a percentage of their salary or wages, subject to a weekly maximum amount, up to a certain number of weeks, or until they’re able to recover and return to work.
- Long-Term Disability (LTD): Designed to pay a monthly benefit to employees in the event they cannot work for an extended period of time because of a covered illness or injury. The LTD benefit replaces a portion of their income, helping them to meet financial commitments in a time of need.
- Basic Life Insurance: Provides financial protection to an employee’s loved ones in the event of his or her death. The amount of this payment is determined by the coverage amount, and may be limited.
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment: Covers employees in the event of death or dismemberment as a result of a covered accident.
Make a difference in the lives of your employees.
Our programs offer affordability and flexibility, with the option of combining these products with only one application to create a full Life and Disability benefit package to offer your employees. Call DPG at 949.208.8550 to discuss the various options available.
